At some time or another parents must come to the realization that their teenager is going to want to go on a date with the opposite sex. The thought alone may give you a headache, but try to look at the situation as a learning opportunity for you and your teen.

Dating is a great way for young adults to learn how to get along with others as well as build their communication and decision-making skills. As a parent you can help maneuver your teen through this important stage of life by having ongoing communication about healthy relationships and love.
